Postpartum doulas support parents during the “fourth trimester.” My goal in these first 3 months after baby is born is to provide you with the care you need:

  • to recover from labor,

  • to reduce the baby blues,

  • to make sure you have eaten and had plenty of water,

  • to rest,

  • to walk as appropriate,

  • to get fresh air,

  • to help your children adjust to life with a new baby,

  • to establish your new routines as a family.

I am here to listen and support you as you process the hopes, fears, frustrations, and challenges of being a new parent.

In addition, as a family resilience coach, infant massage instructor, and Gottman Bringing Baby Home educator, I can support you throughout the 4th trimester and beyond to

  • reduce fussiness and crying,

  • increase smiles,

  • keep your marriage strong and

  • manage conflicts in a respectful way.

In these uncertain times, many of our usual support systems are unavailable or altered. I am here to fill the gap and make you feel confident, knowing that you have a safe, healthy, reliable support system.

There are prenatal classes and prenatal checkups, and many people question her about the details of her daily experience.

INCREASED FOCUS ON THE BABY After she has her baby, however, focus on the mother vanishes.... "the pregnant princess has become the postpartum peasant” with a “wave of the obstetrician’s wand” (continue reading).
