Calming and Connecting With Your New Baby

The purpose of the class is to give parents of pre-crawling babies the tools to:

  • Calm your crying baby

  • Reduce stress and depression for you and your baby

  • Feel confident in your ability to meet your baby’s needs

  • Understand why babies cry and what is normal

  • Get to know your babies’ communication style, personality and way of connecting

*This is a class that teaches parents how to calm and massage their infants. Part of the curriculum includes suggesting different ways parents can adapt infant massage to suit an older baby or a growing child. We will focus on the baby in class, but for families with multiple children this can be a great way to spend individual time with each child so that each child feels heard and valued.
